Monthly subscription model and auto-payments

Monthly subscription

When purchasing Smartproxy plan you create an auto-renewal monthly subscription. Payments are made on a monthly basis at the beginning of every billing cycle. The billing cycle begins at the date of the first payment.

Your plan will be active for a full calendar month. For example, if you purchase the Regular plan on November 1st, your account will be active until December 1st. You will also be charged for the next month on the same day of the next month.

Auto-payments

Auto-payments allows you to easily maintain your subscription. By creating an account and purchasing a auto-renewal monthly based plan you authorize Smartproxy to automatically charge the current monthly subscription fee for the subscription services (including applicable taxes). This automatic charge to your credit card will be made without any additional action by you.

To alert you about automatically renewed subscription we will be send you an email notification shortly before new billing cycle begins.

Auto-renewal

As each of our plans create a auto-renewal monthly subscription, you are 100% responsible to opt-out of the the monthly subscription before next billing cycle happens.

You may opt-out of the auto-renewal service at any time by logging into your Smartproxy account and following the instructions there.

Change (upgrade/downgrade/renew) subscription plan

You can change your plan at any time in the dashboard.

Plan changes:

1/3. Upgrade – buying a bigger plan while having an active subscription.
(e.g. you have an active Micro plan and buy the Starter plan).

1. All unused traffic gets transferred to the new subscription period.

2. Additional proxy users get transferred to new subscription. This applies to proxy users that you purchased.

3. If you upgrade in first 3 days of your first billing cycle the refund policy is no longer valid.

2/3. Renew – buying the same plan again while having an active subscription.
(e.g. you have an active Starter plan and buy Starter plan again before the end of current billing cycle.).

1. All unused traffic is lost.

2. Additional proxy users get transferred to new subscription. This applies to proxy users that you purchased.

3. If you upgrade in first 3 days of your first billing cycle the refund policy is no longer valid.

3/3. Downgrade – buying a smaller plan while having an active subscription.
(e.g. you have an active Starter plan and buy the Micro plan).

1. All unused traffic is lost.

2. Additional proxy users get transferred to new subscription. This applies to proxy users that you purchased.

3. If you upgrade in first 3 days of your first billing cycle the refund policy is no longer valid.

Purchasing extra GB traffic (bandwith)

Once your usage reaches plan limits to keep using our service you can:

You can purchase extra GB dashboard.

If you purchase extra GB traffic, it will be added on top of your current subscription. It does not extend the subscription period. Please check ‘Extra GB Price’ for residential plans here and datacenter plans here.

You need to choose either a Micro, a Starter or a Regular residential plan to participate in the program. You will be all set after 32 days of your subscription’s activation. You can always check your status in the ”Referral program” tab in your dashboard for more information.

Using bonus GBs:

– You can find your bonus GBs in the bonus basket. Click ”Buy traffic” button in the top navigation and check ”Use your bonus traffic” . This checkmark appears once you get bonus.

– Unused bonus (on top of your current subscription) will stay in your bonus basket as long as your subscription plan is active. Feel free to use them on top of your subscription when needed!

– When bonus GBs are used on top of your subscription, they will be valid till the end of the billing cycle. If you upgrade your plan during the same month, used bonus on top of subscription will be transferred too, but if you choose to downgrade, the bonus will be lost.

– You can add the bonus on top of your subscription once 80% of your traffic is used and it doesn’t add up to more than the total of your current plan’s traffic. Let’s say you have a Micro plan (5GB) and 10GB in your bonus basket. Once you have used 80% of your micro plan traffic, you can add 0-5GBs on top of your subscription, then the next billing cycle you can add another 0-5GBs and so on.

– You can use the GBs from your bonus basket only when your subscription is active. If your subscription status says “processing”, “past due”, “compliance review”, or “high risk”, then your bonus basket will be temporary frozen till you make sure your subscription is active again.

– If you cancel your subscription or sub expires – bonus will be lost.

– If you were referred, discount codes / coupons won’t apply on the first purchase.

Heads up! Check if your language is set to English, otherwise your registration form might look like something from another planet. Or just a bit different. We don’t know.

1. Create a Partnerize account if you don’t have one already. It’s pretty easy: just enter your information in the three step form.

Using discount coupon code

Discounts apply only for first-time purchases. If you have a discount coupon code and want to use it, you need to:

1. Register to the dashboard.

2. Go to the ‘Pricing’ tab on the left.

3. Choose a plan.

4. Enter the coupon during purchase and purchase the plan.

NOTE:coupons are not valid for BTC purchases.

What will happen with my discount code (coupon) after I change my plan?

1. Non-recurring discounts apply only for your first subscription month and only for your first plan purchase. If you change your plan or cancel your subscription, the discount will not be applied anymore.

2. Recurring discounts apply month-to-month. If you upgrade or renew your plan, the discount will be transferred to the new subscription. If you downgrade your plan or cancel the subscription, your recurring discount will not be applied anymore.

1. Log in to the dashboard 

2. On the top right corner go to ‘Subscription management’

3. Choose subscription and click ‘Update Payment Method’

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may receive a refund only if you meet our conditions. NOTE: BTC payments are non-refundable.



Refund conditions are:


  • Also, please bear in mind that even if you meet the conditions established above, you will be refunded only once and only for your first order. That means that if during the 3 day refund period you have upgraded/renewed/downgraded your plan, you will be refunded only for the initial amount that you had paid.

Each of our plans creates a monthly subscription. You are 100% responsible for canceling your monthly subscription on time, before the next billing cycle.

To cancel your subscription:

1. Log into your dashboard account.

2. Click the profile icon in the top right corner and choose ‘Subscription management’

3. Select the subscription tab you want to cancel and click on ‘Cancel Subscription’.

4. After canceling your current subscription, your monthly payments will be suspended. You will get a notification in your email.

5. Any traffic you haven’t used will still be available until the subscription period ends.

Note: Canceling your subscription will not delete your dashboard account.

Nevertheless, the plan you’ve already paid for is yours to use – you can continue using our proxy network until the last day of your billing cycle (subscription period). If you want to start using proxies again, you’ll need to purchase a plan in the billing tab on the left side of the dashboard.

NOTE: if you renew your subscription or buy a bigger plan before the subscription period of the cancelled plan ends, any unused traffic (GB) you have will be transferred to the new subscription period.
