What is a residential proxy?

A residential proxy functions as a mediator server connecting you to a target. It employs an IP address assigned by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Residential IPs originate from mobile or desktop devices connected to a local network, so anti-bot systems treat them as genuine users.

How to set up residential proxies

Choose a subscription

After creating your account, you’ll need to pick a subscription option in the dashboard that suits your needs. If you have a one-off project, you can choose the Pay As You Go option and pay for the traffic you use or select from a wide range of subscription options.

Authenticate with username:password

Click on the username or password to copy them. You can reveal your password or generate a new one with the buttons on the right.
To delete a user, click the trash bin icon, then click Confirmdelete. To create a new user, click Create user. You can enter a custom username, but the password will be generated automatically.

Authenticate by whitelisting IPs

Click on Whitelisted IP. Then, enter an IP manually or add your current IP by pressing Add.

We only support IPv4 format IPs. Ensure the IP you're adding is yours, and you’re not using a proxy or VPN service.

Name your whitelisted IP and save it. Press the trash bin icon and then Confirm delete to remove the IP.

Set a traffic limit

To set a traffic limit for a user, click on Set limit. Select a traffic amount the user can’t exceed.

Select an IP location

Navigate to the Endpoint generator tab. Select a user, then choose your proxy location. Opt for Random to select IPs from our pools randomly. For specific locations, select a country and ZIP code (USA only).

You can also select sticky sessions and keep the same IP until the session expires (up to 30 minutes) or choose rotating sessions to change IP with each new request.

Choose your preferred protocol. Residential proxies support endpoint:port, HTTP, HTTP(S), and SOCKS5 protocols.

Finish up with the Endpoint generator

At the bottom of the screen, you can set a maximum number of endpoints, copy them to your clipboard, or download the created list in .CSV or .TXT format.

To monitor your proxy usage, navigate to the Statistics tab. Here, you’ll see the traffic usage for each user over a week, month, or a custom period. You can also view the amount of cumulative uploads, downloads, and requests.
