Your responsibilities:
Conduct manual testing for backend tasks in the Payments and Risk domains, including payment provider integrations, fraud detection tools, data integrity, and API-level testing of internal services.
Perform manual testing on the Dashboard for Payments and Risk domains, covering payment flows, KYC processes, internal tools, and regression testing of affected areas.
Occasionally perform manual testing in other domains.
Automate the testing scenarios mentioned above.
Propose various testing strategies for our products.
Verify that changes are correctly implemented based on Jira tickets, designs, and user flows.
Work closely with development and product teams to understand new features and functionalities, ensuring they are testable and well-covered.
Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies, providing detailed feedback to the development team.
Participate in all team meetings.
Advocate for quality improvements throughout the development process.
Your experience or skills:
Demonstrated experience as a QA engineer in a related industry, ideally with a focus on payment systems or financial services.
Extensive knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a strong emphasis on manual testing.
Skilled in designing and executing detailed test cases to meet functional requirements.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Accountability for owns’ work.
Proficient in writing clear, concise, and thorough defect reports.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Experience with automation testing tools is highly beneficial, or a strong willingness and ability to learn automation soon.

Nice to have:
Degree in IT, engineering, or a related field.
ISTQB foundation certification.
Skill in collaborating with developers to ensure thorough bug resolution.
Knowledge of Proxying/VPNs.
Experience in documenting system functionality.
Proficiency with Postman or experience in API testing.
Demonstrated interest in or initial steps towards learning automated testing tools.
Salary:
Gross salary: 2810 - 4300 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
