Proxy Business During a Global Pandemic

With the Covid-19 sweeping across the world, we just want to assure you that everything is business as usual at Smartproxy.

Be safe with Smartproxy. Avoid corona proxies

We’re running full-steam because:

  • We are a remote team of international professionals who work individually over 90% of the time.

  • Before Corona hit the fan, we made it our policy to work from home (no coworking spaces, libraries or cafes for our team).

  • All our nodes are up and running and we don’t see any reason to suspect this will change.

What we expect in the near future

Some good news while you sneeze into your elbow: our proxy suppliers are about to add more residential IP addresses, so our pool will improve. We’re also improving our servers constantly to handle larger loads (looking at you, sneakerheads).

What about you?

  • Does this whole global pandemic thing impact your projects?

  • How about your clients?

  • Do you need help or tips on how to handle something on the proxy side?

A couple of proxy tips for working in quarantine

  • If you have a large team that shares a single proxy user login or a whitelisted IP, you can create additional proxy users and set limits to make remote work smoother during quarantines (see plan details about proxy user limits – you can also always buy more proxy users).

  • If there’s a lull in your projects, hop on to our API documentation to make proxy management easier to automate.
